Top & Bottom Radiator Hoses for GU TD42ti
I'm looking at getting a spare set of top and bottom radiator hoses to take away on a 2 week trip.
I've been recommended Dayco, which I have found for $33 for the top hose https://www.allfourx4.com.au/epages/...oducts/DMH3615
And $55 for the bottom hose https://www.allfourx4.com.au/epages/...oducts/DMH3585
Or Mackay / Gates for $124.95 for top & bottom hose kit. https://www.4x4andcamping.com.au/pro...arrow-radiator
What are people's opinions and experience with either of these?
The current hoses appear ok at the moment, but are original, so my intention is to swap in this new kit some time in the future.

Regardless of your choice I would take the opportunity to replace them now and take your original factory hoses as spares. Far better to carry a second hand part just in case and have the best new part getting the job done. Much easier to do that hose replacement at home than in the bush too.
Consider replacing the 2 heater gases too while you are there.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Yes, good advice on both having the new parts getting the job done and easier to do the job beforehand.
Thanks @MudRunnerTD
