The 747
My youngest daughter (2) tested positive last week, we stayed in iso all this week and just released today. She never showed a symptom and nobody else in the house tested positive either. The only reason we tested was because my wife's grandparents were planning to come to our house.

Patrol God
@Winnie . Just curious what test was done on your daughter?
Those RAT kits are progressively becoming not trustworthy. Both ways. And because of the shortages, the market is slowly being flooded by shit make-shift tests.
I've been exposed to them a lot lately at work and IMO they should not be leant on reliably. We done a bit of a group test over the last few weeks.
A workmate had symptoms. RAT says YES, PCR says NO. He used the test while in the queue at a drive-thru site. Also vice versa, another blokes wife and kids were positive, so his RAT said NO, twice and PCR said YES. He had no symptoms.
And the recent close call to me was my uncle was positive through RAT and PCR with minimal symptoms. My aunty who spent a week isolated with him, kept being negative to RAT, but PCR said YES.

Took the day off work because plumber coming over to install new hot water unit.
Self employed so day off is day without pay.
Plumber rings me at agreed time and says he's running 1-1.5 hours late. No probs.
Calls me 2 hours later and asks if I'm in a good mood.
I'm bloody not.
Sorry the hot water unit isn't in our warehouse. Not coming today.

Timer on the pool fans crapped out, sparky arrives, swaps it out but only the ceiling fans work, not the window fans, so fault finding starts - who would have thought 3 window mounted exhaust fans would all hold hand and jump off the cliff together - bugger me - they have only been working for 26 years as well to rub salt into the wound.
