Recently purchased the MSD 6AL-2 ignition control unit and the MSD ignition coil for my TB42 carby patrol.
There are three options for the trigger for the unit. I have no clue which one I need to used, I would assume option 1, but not sure how to connect this to the distributor. The options are:
1. White wire, used to connect to breaker points or electronic ignition amplifier.
2. White/blue wire for Hall-Effect pickup.
3. Violet and green for a magnetic pick up
My distributor is a stock set up that hasn’t been touched.
The second question I have is about the tacho cable. Where abouts can I find this wire in the engine wire loom.
