Another beginner on the block.

Hi, to everybody out there.
I have had Patrols since 1993, starting with a 1986 MQ L28 set up with extractors and twin SU's off a Datsun 260Z. It was great fun on and off road eg; Landcruiser Park, etc.

I have had a 1996 GQ RD28T for 4 years and it has been lots of fun tripping around in western Queensland and northern NSW in the National Parks.
It is fitted with; ARB bullbar, 2" lift, Cooper STs, Dual Battery System, Milford cargo Barrier, and the last accessory is a Aussie Swag Camper trailer.

My present problem comes from the glow plug system burning out the back 3 plugs three times in 14 months, I am looking forward to making contact with others and rectify the situation.

Hi and welcome to Nissans Nut House Wilba. Have you checked your glow timer is not
faulty? This could be one reason you are burning out glow plugs, as well as corroded connectors not contacting all plugs correctly. Have you actually used a multi meter on all the plugs? How long are you trying to start your engine for?
