Radiator top hose

Can someone tell me the inside diameter of the top radiator hose on a GU3, 3.0 Di please. I am going to install the adapter to run a water temp gauge.

In case anyone needs this info in the future, the inside diameter of the top radiator hose on a GU3 Di 3.0 is 36 mm.

The gauge reads 85 while driving around on flat bitumen. Does that sound close to correct?

I wouldnt be too concerned about the temp gauge reading. I would be more worried about your truck being on its roof.... :p

i have a 3ltr GU4 and yes 85 is about right. Mine gets up to 90 on a hot day with aircon going and towing a trailer. Highest I've seen is about 91/92 and then on really hard work.
