I after being bopped on the head for the gu upgrade I'm pushing on with the gq.
Anyway one thing I'm doing is the lra tank.
So I'll need a gauge for this tank. At this time I'm doing a simple transfer to main tank.

My question is will this gauge work with the q?

what I have done on previous 4wds was to fit an "on off on" switch to the dash gauge

main tank on one end
sub tank on other

which ever way you switch it, the reading will be from that tank

not sure if I am explaining it correctly, can you picture what I am saying??

Yea that was my plan with the dual pickup valve with the main dash gauge.
But funds won't permit that setup now and talking to the Lekies at work reckon she's a lot of stuffing around to do that with now with the transfer setup.

Personally I think it's as simple as a dual pole on-on switch. So dash reads from main. As per normal.
Then when switched the pump gets power and dash gauge gets feed from sub tank.

Does that make sense??

yeah, I know what your saying - I had the "on off on" so I could turn it off completely (nasty fuel immobiliser)

go to the wreckers, and have a look at how the 100 series do it

click 1 switch, gauge and fuel come from Aux tank
click it again, and back to main - fuel and gauge

might give a better idea

Details are a bit sketchy but it probably should work.

GQ senders are 80 ohms empty and that gauge is adjustable from approx 20 ohms to approx 500 ohms as far as I can figure
