Yes for those who do sunsets it is rather simple. You set up in daylight and just wait. You get to see your lens settings and its all straight forward.
Sunrise is a pain. You set up in the dark and wait. usually its a cold wind and nothing happens as you hope.
The following are a set of pictures of the sunrise across the steel works in Whyalla looking sort of north of Port Pirie.
For those with a desire to know I was set up at 33deg 01' 19" S 137deg 33' 18"E. It is just off from one of the old tanks in Whyalla.
I think the camera was directed more Pt Germain/ Weeroona way.
I had to get there well before sunrise to set up tripod and camera. It was windy and cold.
I split these over a few post to keep the sequence correct.
