My Patrol has a ride pro 2" lift. I am not familiar with ride pro, but I would have expected it would need caster correction bushes or some other means which there is none. The front tyres are a little feathered on the edges.

2" should not need caster correction, Rotate your tyres mate.
RidePro is a good quality lift.

Thanks guys, I will rotate the tyres. I am guessing that it is a 2" lift, it doesn't look any higher.
Ride pro may be a good kit, but mine has 3 shagged shocks.

Hey Fity, I fitted 2" ridepro to my 05 patrol two years ago and didn't fit castor correction bushes. It was notably less stable on the road, and followed ruts terribly and pulled into water on the road dangerously, but I didn't attribute that to the lift (silly boy!). I put rubber 2.5deg correction bushes before xmas. Best money and time I have spent on it, and wish I had done it from day one. It now drives straight, stays on the road and doesn't follow ruts or wear in the road. Most importantly it brakes so much straighter and doesn't pull into water anywhere like it did. The difference is amazing. My tyre wear was not bad, and it has not changed as far as I can see, but dang it drives so much better!!

I am about to fit a TD42 in, so no doubt I will need to sort out the front coils after the extra weight is added.
megatexture, it drives straight and doesn't pull to the side, it wanders a little and the front tyres have feathered edges. I will sort out the engine transplant then do the wheel alignment.

Caster is not a tyre wearing adjustment.
Cater affects handling, ie steering, return to centre, stability, etc.
Toe and camber wear tyres.
Best to get a wheel alignment with a print out of measurements and see what your castor is and then compare to factory specifications to determine the need for bushes. Have the toe adjusted whilst your there.

Toe in changes as a result of the change in camber as the diff rolls after a lift, just a little.
I agree a wheel alignment is needed.

I too have done a lift some time ago and have never been happy with the road ride since I was going to do the 2.5deg bushes but was told not to worry.
I know now I will be putting them in asap

What he said... Don't be tempted to rush into fitting an RTC Damper either.
Castor Correction is def the way IMHO but that won't be the issue causing the feathering.
A lot of wheel alignment joints are too lazy to do Patrol camber adjustments so you may have to head for a specialist.

I have never been a supporter of RTC dampers. If it doesn't RTC by it self something is wrong. That and I don't need a heavier steering wheel.

Patrols have no camber adjust so are factory set with 0.5-1.0 deg of toe in. I had mine set to zero and it wanders a little but there is no pull or feathering. I have a 4" lift and 5 deg caster plates.
Sorry I should say I have done 30,000 km with no rotation of tyres and all four are even wear.
