Roof consoles

G, day guy's, I was looking on ebay today and found a fella up here in qld selling roof consoles to suit a gu for $140 and was wondering if anyone has purchased one off him, if so was the quality any good ?? As $140 seems awfully cheap, thanks guy's.

He calls himself : patrol 9114 : on ebay, or if you go to ebay and type in nissan patrol gu roof consoles its easy to find, he's up near caboolture qld, im not sure how to put up a link,:confused: im pretty computer illiterate , so bare with me and I'll try to figure it out, but it does sound to cheap considering all the other's ive seen are around the $400 mark. Yeah thats the one, sorry I meant to say caboolture :rolleyes: / morayfield which is basically next to each other, so what do you think, to me it doesn't look real flash, I just typed in nissan patrol roof console and it bought up 18 results and the $400 one's look to be better quality, but what do they say you never judge a book by it's cover. He does have a 100% rating though, so he's had no complaints I could find

Yeah they are pretty lousy pictures, I think his consoles might be as good as his pics, one of the pictures looks as though he taken them through a closed Window. :rolleyes:

I guess it depends on your rig mate, if its a mint condition style gu... Maybe not.
if its dented scratched with holes in the dash kinda gu then I could consider it.

How much pride do you have in your rig and would you want that in it.

Not hard to make one if you have seen basic wood working tools.
Will really a drill and jigsaw will do.
A bit of carpet or vinyl and gel grip.
Make it much nicer to..

Good point mate, my patrol is in excellent condition so I'll get a good one from a reputable place and as far as making one goes my missus said we better buy one, ( dont think she's got much faith in my handy work, she doesn't call me Tim the toolman for nothing :D ) so thanks for the advice guy's.
